Opening Doors

As a Copy Lead on the Volkswagen Group account, I wrote and oversaw the output of hundreds – and I mean hundreds – of emails for their famous car brands. From 2022 onwards.

Working from a modular library, our team would create five or six comms a week. Selling new models, writing loyalty programmes, deploying tactical offers, sales events and lots more. A well-oiled machine, you might say.

Here are a few of the sales emails. I say a few – if I included them all, you’d still be scrolling next week.

Once upon a time, these would have been beautiful, expensive direct mail drops crafted over weeks. I think, if I had my way, they still would be.
