A strategic and conceptual thinker who loves the craft of copywriting.
I’ve had a varied career so far. I’ve worked as a copywriter, a group head, a copy lead, a deputy creative director and a creative director. I’ve worked full-time and freelance. I’ve worked at global agencies employing more than 500 people in London, and a small, boutique agency that employed 10 people in Bristol.
I’ve also worked directly with my own clients as a creative and consultant.
When it comes to the work itself, I enjoy tackling briefs that address real, human issues. As a result, much of my career has been working for charities (big and small) using my direct marketing craft to raise what now amounts to millions of pounds. I do have plenty of experience in the financial, automotive and healthcare sectors too. But there’s something about writing hard-working copy for good causes that just ticks my boxes.
Professionally, I love being part of a team and am confident and lively presenter. I work well with my clients and I genuinely care about their objectives.
